Upper Phillimore Gardens

My brief for this project was to remodel it as a glamorous family house with all the twenty-first century domestic toys - gym, pool, home spa, cinema whilst also incorporating the latest audiovisual technology and mechanics. The huge open plan drawing room is a good example of how I like the overall decorative feel of a room to be a medley of harmoniousness created by layers. One of the highlights of this project is the spectacular octagonal master bathroom. We sourced some really amazing pieces for this room, including a free-standing bath from West One Bathrooms and stunning chairs from Soane. The chandelier from Philips & Wood is a real show-stopper and we included subtle touches, such as custom made mother-of-pearl drawer handles which contribute to the glamour of the room. On the lower ground floor under a double-height ceiling, there is an extensive swimming pool with sauna and steam room, Jacuzzi, massage area, showers and changing room, as well as a gym and sitting room.
