This recent project was a 5,500 square foot renovation and complete furnishing plan for a recently relocated family of four. This was the first time they really invested in finishing out their house in a deliberate and thoughtful way and they saw many of these selections as investments in furniture that would last for years to come. At their instruction, they wanted to start from scratch, but once we saw some of their family heirlooms we encouraged them to incorporate that family history into the plan and mix the old with the new. This included creating bespoke furniture designs, designed by Liz MacPhail, sourcing new vintage finds, adding modern pieces and mixing high and low. Our goal was to create a functional, family-friendly, elegant home with pieces that could work wherever this family moves over the years to come.
