Windermere Dr.

This family home was designed for a couple raising four daughters in a quiet Seattle neighborhood. They had lived in the home for several years before renovating. Their goal was to create a space that functioned much better for their family and was traditional in detailing. The existing rooms were compartmentalize from one another and dark. We reconfigured the kitchen, added openings in the dining room to both the kitchen and living rooms which really connected main living spaces and allowed light to pour through the rooms. The furnishings have great decorative details that make the home feel warm and joyful, a perfect setting for this young family to spend time with one another.
