Turquoise Glass Necklace with Antique Japanese & Tibetan Netsuke

Located in Milford, DE

Extra-Long Turquoise Glass Necklace with Antique Japanese & Tibetan Netsuke Carvings and Mixed Organic Beads A truly one-of-a-kind wearable curiosity cabinet, this extraordinary necklace weaves bright turquoise glass beads with a constellation of antique hand-carved treasures. Each organic bead — miniature netsuke-style faces, animals, fruit-pit carvings, seed beads, and dark wooden talismans — carries the charm of old Asian craftsmanship and the quiet mystery of objects made by hand. The piece drapes in long, fluid layers, creating a sculptural, art-collector aesthetic. The result is an unmistakably soulful adornment: part amulet, part art object, part wanderer’s relic from forgotten markets of Kyoto, Lhasa, and Kathmandu. DESCRIPTION A dramatic, multi-strand long necklace composed of vibrant turquoise-blue glass beads accented with an eclectic mix of antique hand-carved elements. Among the stations are miniature netsuke carvings, vintage wooden beads, carved fruit-pit pieces, and rustic natural elements. Every bead is individually strung, maintaining the asymmetric rhythm and character of traditional folk adornment. The necklace is long enough to wrap twice or wear as a statement single opera-length strand. MATERIALS Turquoise-colored glass seed beads Antique carved netsuke beads...
