What is a Spanish saddle?

A Spanish saddle is a type of saddle traditionally used by cowboys in Spain. There are a few different designs, used for specific purposes. The Vaquera saddle is used for everyday riding and covers a larger surface area than modern saddles. The Potrero saddle is used for training young horses and allows for more contact between the rider and the horse.
