What is the difference between Chiavari and Tiffany chairs?

The difference between Chiavari and Tiffany chairs is a matter of terminology. These two names refer to the same type of chair but have different origins. Chiavari comes from the name of the Italian village where the original designer of the chair, Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi, was born.
