1 Answer
What is the Korean art style called?
What the Korean art style is called varies because several different art forms have emerged from the country. In terms of pottery, Korea is known for the Jeulmun style, characterized by conical shapes and comb-like decorations, and the Mumun style, which is used to describe oversized, unadorned pieces. During the 1970s, a monochrome painting style called Dansaekhwa became popular among Korean artists and remains so to this day. The name for the Korean style of calligraphic art is Seoye.
