Margot de Taxco is a designer born Margot van Voorhies Carr. In 1937, she moved to Mexico City, Mexico, and began producing silver jewelry, tableware and decorative objects. Her work draws inspiration from traditional Japanese and Pre-Columbian designs, as well as from the Art Deco movement.
