Who made Herschede clocks?
1 Answer

The Herschede Hall Clock Company made Herschede clocks. Frank Herschede founded the company in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1877, incorporating it 25 years later. The company's grandfather clocks, hall clocks and mantel clocks won numerous awards
over the next 20 years. After experiencing financial difficulties during the Great Depression and World War II, the company relocated to Stark, Mississippi, in 1960. It continued to operate there until 1981 when the company closed. Find a wide range of vintage and antique clocks on 1stDibs.
