Who made the Lips sofa?
1 Answer
Salvador Dalí made the Lips sofa. The full name of the piece is the Mae West Lips Sofa. To produce the famous lip-shaped seat, he collaborated with the patron for the sofa, Edward James. Dalí's painting Mae West's Face which May be Used as a Surrealist Apartment provided inspiration for the piece. On 1stDibs, find a collection of Salvador Dalí art.
