About the Item
Red la Bocca sofa, a beautiful and fantastic Pop Art lips sofa attributed to Studio 65 for Gufram Italy 1970s, which was made of an original hard plastic frame and original polyurethan foam. It is newly upholstered with fleece and covered with red stretch jersey fabric.

La Bocca sofa has a great history.
The first creator was Salvador Dali. He was influenced by the beautiful mouth of Mae West. So the name for the sofa was born: Mae West Sofa.
The time goes by and the next generation loved Marilyn Monroe. Her beauty and her figure and her mouth. The famous sofa was designed by Studio 65 for Gufram in 1972. The lips of Marilyn Monroe gave the sofa its name. So it was a tribute to Salvador Dali and name for this created sofa was The lips of Marilyn Monroe Sofa - La Bocca.
This sofa is a design icon. It was exhibited in many collections and museums like New York MoMA, in the Louvre in Paris.
