This beautiful framed black and white large scale study of a young female model seated looking away from the viewer, 'Seated Female Nude' captures and embraces the human form. Wingo approaches the nude figure with energetic line and play of light and shadow in a monochromatic palette. " I have been an Artist for many years. I received my Masters in Fine Art from Wichita State University, in Wichita, Kansas. I have taught art for many years. My work is intentionally loose in rendering, the purpose is to engage the memory of the viewer. I believe that the Artist should lead the viewer to make conclusions of their own. At a distance I have been told that my work appears photographic, yet, upon closer examination the viewer is often surprised to find how much detail their minds-eye has added to the image.
