"Kings Remains" 24K Gold Sculpture 8 x 2 in Ed. of 10 by Colin Burn

By Colin Burn

Located in Culver City, CA

"Kings Remains" 24K Gold Sculpture 8 x 2 in Ed. of 10 by Colin Burn Medium: 24K Yellow Gold, 18K White Gold & Diamonds Edition of 10 NOTE: preparation time may take up to 8 weeks. Pure 24k yellow gold skull and spinal olisbos sculpture featuring an 18k solid white gold royal crown, set with 10 carats of flawless sparkling white diamonds. Sculpture comes with Limited Edition Artist Certificate of Authenticity and Jewelry Certificate of Materials. The crypt of the Kings Remains represents mortality and preserved sexual energy. The sexual spirit lives beyond the grave, etched into history and carried forward by those who have experienced this erotic power. The energy of an erotic past runs through us all, leaving a perpetual sexual imprint for others to follow and immortalize. “The encasing of mind, body and soul as entombed sexual energy, preserved among the ruins of life” - Colin Burn Inspiration & Context - Immortality was the underlying inspiration when creating this sculpture. A Vanitas reflecting on ancient royal entombment as man’s vain attempt to remain immortal by being buried with ones treasures. I wanted the sculpture to represent the encasing of mind, body and soul as entombed sexual energy, preserved among the ruins of life. The sculpture symbolizes how ones sexual energy is at the core of their being and how it can transcend beyond the grave for others pleasure and satisfaction. Materials - Electroformed from pure 24k gold featuring a solid 18k white gold royal crown, set with 10 carats of flawless diamonds. ABOUT COLIN BURN: Australian artist Colin Burn is a bold provocateur in the world of conceptual art, using his work to disrupt societal norms and spark critical dialogue often around uncomfortable truths. His art pushes boundaries, urging viewers to rethink their assumptions on value, power, and meaning, especially in contexts often deemed taboo or overlooked. Known for his masterful fusion of symbolism and opulence, Burn transforms ordinary objects into potent allegories, frequently employing their high monetary value to amplify the emotional and intellectual resonance of his themes. He understands that society frequently ties value to price, and this awareness is central to his approach. With an attention-grabbing allure, Burn’s work invites viewers to look beyond the surface, encouraging them to explore the deeper, often concealed meanings behind what they see—reminding them that true value lies not only in the material cost, but in the idea or theme that it represents. A compelling example of this is his Pearl Royale chess set...

By Jeff Koons

Located in Östermalm, Stockholms län

Balloon Dog (Blue) 2021. Porcelain with metallic chromatic coating Limited edition of 69/799 ex. Certificate of authenticity and the original box. Incised signature, edition number, titled and dated on the underside. Produced by Bernardaud, Limoges, France. Jeff Koons is an American pop artist, born in York, Pennsylvania in 1955 to a mother who was a seamstress and a father who worked as an interior decorator. He is known for working with popular culture subjects and for his reproductions of banal objects. His works have sold for important amounts, including one world record auction price for a work by a living artist. Jeff Koons had an early interest in art and as a teenager he admired Salvador Dalí. He studied painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. As a student he met the artist Ed Paschke who became a major influence and for whom he worked as a studio assistant in the late 1970’s. In 1977 Jeff Koons moved to New York City where he worked at the Museum of Modern Art whilst establishing himself as an artist. In the 1980’s he began working as a Wall Street commodities broker in order to finance his art projects. He wanted to be independent from the art market and has expressed that: ”I could make exactly what art I wanted to make. And I would always know that I didn’t need the art market.” In the mid-1980’s Jeff Koons gained prominence and recognition as part of a generation of artists who explored the meaning af art in a media-saturated era. He set up a factory-like studio in a SoHo loft with over 30 assistants. Since his first solo exhibition in 1980 Jeff Koon’s work has been shown in major galleries and institutions throughout the world. His work was the subject of a major exhibition organized by the Whitney Museum of American Art, Jeff Koons: A Retrospective in 2014, which traveled to the Centre Pompidou Paris and then further to Guggenheim Bilbao in 2015. His most recent series, Gazing Ball Paintings, was exhibited for the first time at Gagosian Gallery, New York in 2015. The artist has earned renown for his public sculptures, such as the monumental...

Origin Photorealistic Artwork Oil Enamel Painting on Canvas: New York to Milan

By Ross Tamlin

Located in Los Angeles, CA

Ross Tamlin's unique photorealistic compositions merge traditional painting methods with modern industrial techniques to create captivating works of art. Using layers of oil and enamel paint, Tamlin creates an illusion of corrugation that adds depth and texture to his pieces. His use of industrial imagery and found objects is a nod to contemporary art, while his bold color palette and incorporation of text is a nod to the Pop Art movement. Tamlin created this one-of-a-kind, vibrant, and colorful painting measuring 42 inches high by 36 inches wide and 1.25 inches deep with oil and enamel paint on canvas. The sides of the canvas are painted in a continuation of the front eliminating the need for framing. In addition to being signed by the artist on the front, the artwork also comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery. The certificate guarantees the authenticity and provenance of the artwork. Free delivery is available for those in the local Los Angeles area. Affordable worldwide shipping is available for U.S. and international art collectors. In this artwork, Tamlin reworks the traditional idea of landscape painting by incorporating text and familiar places' names, such as California destinations, painted in large letters over the colorful photorealistic painted corrugated metal. This photorealistic painting by Ross Tamlin is so expertly executed that it perfectly mimics the texture and appearance of corrugated metal, even when seen in person. However, upon much closer inspection from the side at a nearly 90-degree angle, the levelness of the canvas is revealed, allowing you to appreciate the skillful brushwork of oil and enamel paint that gives the amazing illusion of depth and texture. With meticulous attention to detail, Tamlin imparts extraordinary depth to the painting, creating a finish that emulates the shine of polished metal and further enhances the piece's realistic appearance. This original artwork stands as a testament to Tamlin's remarkable talent and precision, demonstrated through the inclusion of even the smallest details, such as the masterfully painted rusty rivet holes. Tamlin's works are represented by Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles and are held in private collections worldwide, including Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Singapore, the USA, Switzerland, and France. Corporate collections include ING Bank, Babcock & Brown, Barclays Bank, Saville Hotel Group, Savills Property Group, Minter Ellison, Hai Win Shipping, Allkotes Pty Ltd, Blue Scope Steel Pty Ltd, Sieper & Co., A. Art Glass Black Bench, Stained Glass and Cast Iron Sculpture by Drew Smith

Located in Long Island City, NY

As a native of Idaho Falls, Drew was inspired since early childhood by the beauty of the surrounding Intermountain Region. The Tetons, Snake River, and a few local wetlands became magical destinations with sounds of wind in the reeds or migrating waterfowl that continue to echo through Drew’s professional work. This cast iron bench has custom stained glass melted into the negative spaces, forming pseudo cushions to rest on. The back of the structure is molded to resemble a playful family of robots, holding each other and posed in a line as if taking a family photo. Art Glass Black...
