Art Subject: Cow
Cow, Spring serie
Located in Zofingen, AG
You will receive this painting stretched, with painted edges and completely ready for hanging. Framing is not obligatory and depends only on your preference. The "Spring" series captures the sensations that permeate us during the most enchanting time of the year. It reveals the emergence of feelings, the pleasure of tenderness and the belief in the future. The color palette of the paintings resembles the blossoming of trees, combining pastel tones with vibrant, saturated accents. They seem effortlessly crafted, as if breathing in cool, fresh air. The series is executed in a decorative style, with each canvas incorporating elements that convey a sense of textile. These elements refer to traditional...

Counting Cows, Original Painting
Located in San Francisco, CA

Artist Comments
A spotted cow gazes outward as if watching a car pass by. Two red barns in the background glow orange in the bright sunlight. The blue summer sky with passing clouds adds to the serene rural setting.

About the Artist
Artist John Jaster paints in a style he describes as realistic impressions, capturing colorful views of his adventures across the Americas. "People always ask me how I get such deep brilliant colors," says John. "The answer is layers. Since acrylic paint dries mostly transparent, it requires multiple layers of paint to build up to a specific color. With the right lighting that depth of layering is like sunshine glistening through clear water." In college, John felt a pull towards computer science and pursued a career in software architecture. Although the two paths...

Located in Kolkata, West Bengal
Mohammad Osman - Gangireddu (Sacred Bulls) Acrylic on Canvas, 48 x 48 inches, 2020 Born in 1972 Originally from a village in Mahabubnagar district ,I draw inspiration heavily from village life.. I have completed my bachelors of fine arts from JNAFAU Hyderabad. My first solo show happened with gallery g in 2010.later after that I had many solo and group exhibitions. Recently I have been painting various versions of a bull that is traditionally decorated during sankranthi. I am touched with Indian culture and tradition and since past many years I have been working on this bull series and its also symbolic image of "SANKRANTI" festival. My childhood my village are the reasons for this gangireddu. I lived in a village for twenty five years and am strongly connected to my village and my roots there. And I have chosen Gangireddu because I found it very interesting with beautiful traditional elements in it. I feel it's nothing less than a beautiful composition of art. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: B. F. A ., (Painting) J.N.T.U , College of Fine Arts ,HYDERABAD. SOLO SHOWS: 2010 - Gallery – G , Bangalore. Enid Munroe Mid Century Modernist Oil Painting Still Life with Fruit and Bread
Located in Surfside, FL
Genre: Modern Subject: Kitchen still life with pineapple, sourdough bread and lemons Medium: oil paint, done in a sgraffito, impasto somewhat brutalist technique Surface: board Country: United States Dimensions: 18 X 24 Being sold unframed Enid Munroe re-establishes the aesthetic worth of ordinary manufactured objects within the basic form language of Cubism. In her painting the artist uses trompe-l'oeil to render her composition, involving realistic imagery in order to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects exist in three dimensions. Enid Munroe is an artist and teacher who is well known regionally for her paintings, works on paper and Gold leaf, silver leaf, trompe l’oeil collage and assemblage series. She has been included in numerous invitational and juried exhibitions both nationally and regionally. Her works are in leading public, corporate and private collections including the Brooklyn Museum and the National Museum of American Art. Munroe cites painter Georgia O’Keeffe as one her influences and sources of inspiration. “Georgia O’Keeffe really helped lift the concept of women as artists,” stated Munroe. Munroe lived and worked in Mexico, Japan and Italy before settling in Connecticut. She is the author of An Artist in the Garden: A Guide to Creative and Natural Gardening (Henry Holt & Co, 1994) and has been active in regional art events including the founding of the annual Pequot Library...
