American painter, 19th century
Painter, watercolorist, draughtman, illustrator, landscapes, marines
Gilbert Burling supplied drawings to several newspapers and often exhibited at the American Society of Painters in Watercolor of which he was a member.
Among his Works are sketches in French Normandy, Beach near East Hampton and Canadian Lake.
