Original oil on canvas painting of the Moulin Rouge located in Paris, France. Rocco is an Italian born artist known primarily for his paintings of Paris landmarks and street scenes in the 1950’s and 1960’s. The painting is signed lower right. The condition of the painting is very good, no restorations. The painting is housed in its original period frame composed of gold leaf inner and outer frame separated by a white liner. Frame has minor wear consistent with age. Overall framed measurements are 27 by 23 inches. Provenance: A Sarasota, Florida collector.
