Antique Indian Mughal portrait of a Prince, late 18th cent. , by repute possibly depicting Maharaja Vijay Singh of Marwar (1729 - 1793)
Rajasthan, circa 1800’s
The Maharaja is presented with a halo, facing left, wearing a sheer kurta over purple jamas, strands of pearls and golden pendants, his hands holding a sword , a large black shield at his belt .
Dimensions : 9 ¼ " x 5 ¼ " sight , framed 15 ¼ " x 11 ¼ ".
