The Armchair 400 or "Tank Chair" is one of Alvar Aalto's best known works. The sculptural cantilever design showcases the beauty of bent plywood.

The seat has been re-upholstered (circa 1990s) with the instantly recognizable and iconic Artek Zebra pattern fabric (designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto).
