Austrian Biedermeier (circa 1825) walnut veneered & maple trimmed architects desk with column design legs and 2 drawers with hinged top that lifts up (attributed to Danhauser).  

Rectangular top over a long drawer flanked by small drawers over pedestals each with two drawers. Bracket feet. Finished all around in a design of inlay that gives a striped effect.
