A wonderful early 20th century Austrian hand knotted wool rug with a repeated octagonal medallion and trellis pattern with myriad stylized flowers and scrolling vines and surrounded by a border with multiple thin stripes with more stylized flowers and scrolling vines, and all woven in varying shades of rose, sage green, gold, and white.
