The wood frames are built with straight rear supports, turned front legs, and bobbin-style stretchers, giving the chairs a Louis XIII or French Renaissance Revival character.

Rectangular thick top surface, sits on a deep apron finished with a moulded edge.  Raised on 4 bobbin turned legs, which have had blocks later added to the bottom.
