Antique Drawing Book

A pair of mid-19th century furniture prints from Thomas Sheraton’s “The Cabinet-Maker & Upholsterer’s Drawing-Book, 1791-1794.” (Now with later coloring & in moulded giltwood frames.)

This is an antique copy of the Cabinet Maker's Drawing Book by Thomas Sheraton. An English, bound reference guide, dating to the Georgian period, published 1793.

The scene appears to have been copied from a drawing book published in 1827, based on the inscription at the bottom edge.
