Antique Ribbon

Crowning the piece is a flowing tied ribbon, a quintessential symbol associated with the Louis XVI style.

Each frame is crowned with a ribbon‑tied torch and quiver motif, a hallmark of the Neoclassical vocabulary.

At the center is a traditional Louis XVI emblem: a flaming torch crossed with arrows and bound with ribbon, surrounded by laurel leaves and a floral wreath.

The combination of flowing ribbon details, pavé accents, and a certified center diamond makes this a particularly graceful example of the era's craftsmanship.

The slender cabriole legs are decorated with a painted interlacing ribbon motif and end in pad feet. The reverse and underside show unfinished wood consistent with period construction.
