This antler table lamp, composed of substantial fallow deer antler and dating to the 1950s, reflects the enduring appeal of Black Forest style lighting and mid-century interest in natural materials. The antler retains its organic form and warm, variegated patina, with tonal variation ranging from deep brown to lighter bone hues along the tips and edges.
Oriented horizontally, the antler functions as both structural base and sculptural framework. Its asymmetrical branching form gives the antler table lamp a strong visual presence, balancing rustic character with mid-century restraint. Suspended centrally from a blackened metal chain is a frosted glass globe shade. The lamp has been professionally restored and is in very good vintage condition. There is light surface wear to the antler consistent with age and material. The glass globe and fittings are clean and well balanced, and the lamp is fully functional.
