Flower Applique

Beautiful 1960s navy blue and white silk chiffon flower rhinestone applique gown ! Features a tailored bodice with hand-sewn white flowers that are encrusted with rhinestones.

The soaring shape opens up like a flower. A tin appliqué, which has been expertly bronzed, is attached to the narrow vase body with metal wire.

Unlike most such patterns, this example includes bells between the flowers. It is finely appliqued and well quilted with echo patterning.

No other noted faults. All the appliqué flowers are intact, please see photos.
