Dining room set consisting of four teak side chairs and one armchair. Designed by Johannes Andersen, produced by Vamo Sønderborg. The 5 chairs were recently upholstered in black Naugahyde. The armchair has some age related wear to the armrests as shown in the photos. Overall the set is in great vintage condition. A stylish and extremely well made set of eight Danish vintage teak dining chairs by Johannes Andersen, dating from the 1960’s. They are of outstanding quality with a gorgeous design, they are very comfortable and supportive. They have a beautiful and sculptural design, the curved back rests sweep down into the sides of the seats, they stand on beautifully tapered legs. We have had the solid teak frames stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent throughout. The black vinyl seats are in superb condition, they appear to have been upholstered at different times as four are slightly more matt in finish, while four have more of a shine.
