Leon Message

Bronze mounts are by Ferdinand Barbedienne (back of some of the mounts are stamped FB) in the taste of Leon Message / Francois Linke. 19th Century.

Linke is known to have also taken on Zwiener's sculptor Léon Messagé. For this reason many of Zwiener's pieces have often been mistakenly attributed to Linke.
