Alison Groom Mixed Media
Alison Groom is an artist based in London at Wimbledon Art Studios. She is concerned with texture and light in her work. She is fascinated by changes in the color of light at different times of the day and enjoys early morning and late afternoon light, as well as the colors of sunset and the gloaming. Groom is especially inspired by water. Some of her favorite places include the Suffolk Coast, Essex, Devon, Cornwall, West Sussex, Skye, the Lake District and London viewed from the River Thames.
