Attributed to Angelo Maria Rossi, known as " Carlo Torre's Painter" or better as the Pseudo-Fardella, that operated in the north of Italy, mostly in Milan, around the second half of 17th century.

The painting in question is rich of various and colorful element in a naturalistic setting, displayed on two parallel horizontal levels, separated by the crags of an embankment.
