Antonio Diziani Landscape Paintings
Italian, 1737-1797
Antonio Diziani (Venice, February 9, 1737 - Venice, June 23, 1797) was an Italian painter.
Son of Gaspare and brother of Giuseppe, he was a painter active mainly in Venice.
He was part of the Academy of painting and sculpture in 1774, dedicating himself to genre scenes and landscape, Influenced by the pastoral painting of Francesco Zuccarelli and Giuseppe Zais.
His works, which also highlight the Flemish and Dutch influence, have a burlesque and popular imprint.
Among the works attributed to him with certainty are those of the Galleria dell'Accademia in Venice.to
