We are delighted to this exceptionally rare and absolutely stunning fully hallmarked 1911 Liberty’s London sterling silver & enamel miniature carriage clock made by the wonder that is Archibald Knox I am now listing my three liberty’s clocks, I have one Tudric pewter and two miniature sterling silver & enamel fully restored carriage clocks, all listed under my other items and made by Archibald Knox This clock has been fully restored, the case has been straightened and aligned and professionally polished, the movement removed and serviced. Its fully hallmarked with the sideways facing Lion for sterling silver, the ship Anchor for Birmingham, the date letter M for 1911, and lastly L&Co for Liberty and Co Between the years of 1899 and 1910 Archibald Knox was one of the principal designers for the London department store Liberty & Co. An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Swiss silver and pink enamel miniature boudoir clock; an addition to our silver timepiece collection. This exceptional antique Swiss silver miniature boudoir clock has a plain rectangular form. The surface of this impressive antique clock is embellished with impressive pink guilloche enamel panels, framed with plain broad sterling silver borders. The upper portion of the enamel clock is fitted with an angular carrying handle. The enamel dial of the clock is ornamented with black hour numerals, encircled with plain black chapter ring of minute markers and fitted with shaped pink hands. The face of this timepiece is visible through a circular glass 'window' with a plain applied silver border. The hinged door and opens to reveal the original movement. The clock movement is fitted with an incorporated hinged winding key, featuring a shaped handle with a lobed fingerpiece. The hallmarks struck to the underside of this exceptional antique enamel clock include: Maker's mark: STYLO Silver quality/purity mark: Argent 0,935 (silver, .935, 935/1000) Guarantee mark: Bear (large article over .875 purity) Condition: This antique enamel clock is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
