Arthur Irwin Riley

American, 1911-1998

Arthur Irwin Riley, also known as Art Riley, first studied at the Art Center School in Los Angeles and, later, with Barse Miller. He exhibited widely and with success from the 1930s through the 1960s and was the recipient of numerous prizes, medals and juried awards. Riley was a long-time member of both the California Watercolor Society and the American Watercolor Society.
