The events depicted in the painting take place possibly somewhere in the Middle East or North Africa. Painting takes us to the times of great explorations and sea voyages. Сollaboration work by two Norwegian artists: Morten Müller (1828-1911) and Olaf Christopher Dahl (1842-1895). Painted approximately in late 19th century (ca. 1870 - 1880).
