Murano hand blown Italian art glass bird sculpture or figurine features a minimal, restrained palette of dark red and off-white with delicate gold lead, or aventurine, accents. The colored glass is encased in a layer clear glass in sommerso technique, adding depth and complexity to the piece. The bird is sitting on sculptural, rounded base, done in clear glass with gold flecks, elevating it without adding a visually heavy element.
