Ben Seibel (1918-1985) was an American industrial designer recognized for popularizing sculptural tableware in American homes across the nation. Seibel was born in New Jersey and studied sculpture and painting before pursuing architecture at Columbia University. He left school to serve in WWII and never completed his schooling. This stunning mid century modern chair has been upholstered in a high pile ivory boucle that just begs to be touched and sat in. I haven't had one person in the gallery since we've gotten this chair back that hasn't just gushed about it.
