Brian Blood Paintings
American, b. 1962
Brian Blood is an American artist known for his landscape paintings, particularly those of the American West. He was born in 1960 and raised in California, where he developed a love for the natural world and the outdoors. Blood began painting at a young age, and later attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, where he studied illustration and fine art.
After graduation, Blood worked as a commercial artist and illustrator, but eventually decided to focus on fine art full-time. He began exhibiting his work in galleries and museums, and quickly gained a reputation as a leading painter of the American West. Blood's work is characterized by his use of vibrant colors and his ability to capture the beauty and majesty of the western landscape.
In addition to his painting, Blood is also a popular teacher and lecturer, and has taught workshops and classes on painting and art throughout the United States. He currently lives and works in California.(Biography provided by Portfolio)
