Beautiful sofa attributed to the great designer Gio Ponti for the Italian manufacturer Casa e Giardino in the 1950s. The fabric is an original golden yellow velvet of the time. The internal structure is made of a beautiful solid wood that can support the weight of the seat. The feet are covered by an application of a strip with dangling braids, very elegant almost Baroque. The sofa is designed for two seats, we see two large cushions.
