Dalvin Byron Paintings

American, b. 1994

Dalvin Byron's paintings originate where waking life bleeds into dreams —where the noise of the world refuses to fade. The work is concerned with sensation and instinct rather than direct narrative or explanation. Each canvas explores interior states shaped by personal identity, memory, and a search for meaning in an unpredictable world. Rather than using dreams as an escape from modern life, the paintings treat them as an honest reflection of it: intense, shifting, and loaded with personal history.

Dalvin currently lives and works in Newton, Massachusetts, where he teaches drawing and painting classes for middle and high school students. His commitment to art education extends beyond the studio: he previously taught in Baltimore, Maryland, where he led a team of high school students through a summer mural and public art program, bringing creative work into shared community spaces. He received his BFA from Messiah University in 2016. He is represented by Fountain Street Gallery.

Located in Sitges, Barcelona

Natalia Pankova (1965) - Sunflowers - Oil on canvas Oil measurements 50x50 cm. Frameless. This striking piece by Natalia Pankova, a renowned contemporary Russian painter, captures the energy and vitality of a sunflower bouquet in her signature expressionist style. Pankova uses a vibrant palette and dynamic brushstrokes, creating a powerful balance between structure and emotion. The artist draws clear inspiration from masters such as Vincent van Gogh, whose use of color and expressive approach to still life revolutionized the art world, and Paul Cézanne, celebrated for his structural and geometric treatment of still life. Additionally, echoes of Wassily Kandinsky's expressionism can be seen, particularly in the harmonious interplay of shapes and colors. The painting is not framed, offering the buyer the freedom to select a frame that best suits their personal style and space. Perfect for collectors or contemporary art enthusiasts looking for a vibrant and unique piece. An excellent addition to any collection! View from the Train: Cityscape Oil Painting, View of Brooklyn

By Patty Neal

Located in Hudson, NY

View from the Train, 2019 24" X 40" x 1", oil on canvas This contemporary oil painting depicting a metropolitan view is the work of realist painter Patty Neal. The painting offers an intimate view of the city, as seen from a window, as it peeks from behind two metal structures. The dark browns and bright golds beautifully compliment the dusty blue, gray sky. Neal works highlight everyday city scenes, utilitarian infrastructure, and industrial or electrical apparatus. Artist statement: A life is an accumulation of experiences: visual, emotional and mental. By compartmentalizing these snippets of life we create boundaries. The focus of my work for many years has been the exploration of these various life aspects and how they are bound together or bound from each other. My process is often literally composed of boundaries. I make a painting by putting together multiple panels, or I segment a single panel into separate visual spaces. The works are made up of pieces or elements of city and landscape. While exploring the concepts of boundaries I play with visual “reality.” Sometimes I combine images that are upside down with those that are not and juxtapose images from different contexts. Literal boundaries, such as walls fences, expanses of water and highway median strips are also used. My intent is to invite viewers to look beyond these boundaries to see the possibilities of a connected whole. 19th Century Torero and Bull Oil Painting, Figurative Expressionism

Located in Sitges, Barcelona

Title: Torero and Bull Artist: José María Tuser Vázquez (1919-1986) Technique: Oil on canvas mounted on board Dimensions: 18.9 x 15 inches Framing: Unframed Art Movement: Costumbrismo, Figurative Expressionism Theme: Bullfighting Date of Creation: Second half of the 20th century DESCRIPTION The painting Torero and Bull depicts a classic bullfighting scene, where a matador, elegantly dressed in a golden and violet traje de luces, performs a pass with the cape while the bull, wounded with banderillas, bows toward the ground. The composition conveys dynamism and tension, emphasizing the drama of the moment with loose and expressive brushstrokes. The background is rendered in warm, diffused tones, contrasting with the deep black of the bull and the vivid hues of the cape. The thick brushwork and vibrant oil application enhance the sense of movement and emotion in the scene, a distinctive feature of Tuser Vázquez’s bullfighting paintings. ARTIST'S BIOGRAPHY José María Tuser Vázquez (Barcelona, 1919 - 1986) was a Spanish painter specializing in bullfighting themes. He trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona, where he developed a strong foundation in drawing and painting. From 1947 onwards, he dedicated his artistic production to tauromaquia, creating posters, illustrations, and paintings that captured the intensity of the bullfighting spectacle. He was a regular contributor to the magazine El Ruedo and designed a series of postcards featuring traditional Spanish costumes for Editorial Artigas in the 1940s. His work has been auctioned numerous times and is highly valued by collectors of bullfighting art...
