David Gilhooly RCA (1943 – 2013), was an American ceramicist, sculptor, painter, printmaker, and professor. He is best known for pioneering the Funk surrealism art movement. He made a series of ceramic frogs called FrogWorld, as well as ceramic food, planets, and other creatures.
David James Gilhooly III was born on April 15, 1943, in Auburn, California. He was raised in Los Altos, California; Saint Croix in the Virgin Islands; and Humacao, Puerto Rico.
He enrolled in University of California, Davis (UC Davis) initially studying biology, followed by anthropology, and ending with a focus on fine art. While attending UC Davis, Gilhooly served as artist Robert Arneson assistant starting in 1963. He graduated from UC Davis with a BA degree in 1965, and an MA degree in 1967.

Irena Orlov is a Los Angeles-based contemporary multidisciplinary visual artist whose work uses a combination of both traditional and new media. In a blending of traditional and new media, Irena Orlov developed special techniques which continue to give her art a unique look and aesthetic. While the majority of her works are done with mixed media, she also creates with acrylic, oil, pastel, watercolors and pencil.
Much of her art has been implemented in renowned hotels, wellness and corporate settings across the world.

The unknown vibrancy/potential in every child lead to the inspiration for this painting. Irrespective of any race, we should never dispute the wisdom, and knowledge in little children but rather help them on the path of identifying their purpose
This leads to the title Athena's trinity (Athena means goddess of wisdom and war). The figures at the back represent the wisdom and love in a child while the figure at the front represents the power instilled in a child that should never be looked down on.
All of these traits are linked to one using Trinity. Every child should not be stripped of love and wisdom but tread their path to love and wisdom accompanied by power
