These prints are from the celebrated equestrian tradition associated with Friedrich Wilhelm Baron d’Eisenberg’s Description du Manège Moderne, published in the early 18th century. The work is known for its refined depictions of classical horsemanship, riding-school movements, and noble equestrian presentation. The hand coloring adds warmth and decorative appeal, with rich tones in the riders’ coats, saddlery, and horses. The prints have an attractive aged surface and strong period character, making them especially suitable for an equestrian interior, library, study, country house, tack room, club room, or classic gallery wall. Included plates: Le Courageux, plate XXIV Le Loyal, plate XXV L’Esperance, plate X Condition: Fair antique condition.
