Beautiful antique French pajama dog, French Loulou dog, real fur over paper mache! He has wonderful glass eyes, a paper mache body and soft fur. Beautiful facial expression! There is some wear due to age as the dog is over 100 years old!! The fur is still in reasonable condition for his age! Some hair loss on the ears, tip of the nose, paws and back of the tail. Still such a cute and decorative dog. These pajama dogs could be used to store children's pajamas in and were in the finest homes of the nobility and wealthy citizens.
