An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Danish silver water/cordial jug made in the Art Nouveau style; an addition to our range of collectable silverware. This exceptional antique Danish silver jug has a circular rounded form onto a circular spreading foot, all in the Art Nouveau style. The surface of this antique water jug has a subtle planished finish. This impressive piece is fitted with a C-shaped handle, with a bifurcating upper portion and the original carved painted wood hand piece. The spout is embellished with a vase shaped design to the nadir. The underside of the Art Nouveau jug bears the engraved initials 'A.N' and date '1927', in addition to the hallmarks. The hallmarks struck to this silver jug include: Assay mark: Three Tower Mark, 20 (Copenhagen, 1920) Assay Master Mark: CFH (Christian F. Heise) Condition This antique Art Nouveau jug is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The jug has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Danish hallmarks struck to the underside of the jug are all very clear. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver presentation bowl; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian English sterling silver presentation bowl has a circular panelled form onto a plain circular domed spreading foot. The panels of this impressive bowl are embellished with embossed and chased decorated floral sprays alternating with wildlife scenes depicting snakes, squirrels and birds, in addition to chinoiserie style figural ornamentation. Each illustrative panel incorporates a floral design to the lower portion; one remains vacant to the upper portion forming a vacant cartouche. The upper segment of each panel is ornamented with an alternating panel of chased geometric quatrefoil and twisting decoration. The upper rim of this impressive Monteith style bowl has a plain incurved border. The bowl is supported with a plain circular domed foot encircled with applied moulded decoration to the rim. The underside of the bowl bears the retailer's mark 'Thomas, 153 New Bond St', in addition to the full hallmarks. This exceptional example of antique silverware has been crafted by the same maker and in the same style as the bowl A4964, and they would sit very well together as a graduating pair. A magnificent, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver Old English Bead pattern flatware service for twelve persons boxed, an addition to our Victorian flatware collection. The pieces of this magnificent antique Victorian English sterling silver flatware set for 12 persons are crafted in the Old English Bead pattern. The anterior and posterior surface of each piece is encompassed with an impressive paralleling double struck bead decorated border. The anterior surface of each fork and spoon handle is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a demi-lion holding a cross crosslet fitchy. The anterior of each fork handle and the reverse of each spoon handle features a pip to the terminal, in addition to each spoon featuring a rounded heel to the reverse of the bowl.
