A very fine quality pair of caddy spoons with scallop shell bowls, twisted handles and whelk-shell terminals, by John S Hunt. For a collector of caddy spoons, spoons, or fine silver there can be no greater name nor finer quality.
On the death of Paul Storr in 1838, his business (Storr & Mortimer) was continued by his nephew John Samuel Hunt under the name of Mortimer & Hunt. In 1843 the company became Hunt & Roskell until 1897.

An exceptional, fine and impressive set of four antique Victorian English sterling silver salt spoons; an addition to our silver flatware collections.
These exceptional antique Victorian English sterling silver spoons have been crafted in a desirable ornamental shaped-swan design.
Each finely cast handle is embellished a protruding swan neck design to the lower portion and terminal, in addition to curvilinear plumage textures to the stem.
The swan to the lower portion incorporates spread wings accented with the feet integrating with the rounded organic decorated spoon bowl; the interior of each bowl is gilded.
By virtue of their size these unusual and versatile spoons could be used for a multitude of functions.
These exceptional antique silver spoons have been crafted by the renowned and collectable London cutlery maker George Adams of Chawner & Co.

An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver caddy spoon made by Henry George Murphy; an addition to our teaware collection.
This exceptional antique George V sterling silver caddy spoon has a plain rounded bowl.
The surface of the bowl and upper portion of the handle have a planished finish.
The handle is embellished with a cast and applied panel depicting a rose bush with a paralleling rope twist decorated border.
The handle terminal is further ornamented with a scalloped border.
This impressive antique 1920s silver caddy spoon was crafted by the renowned silversmith Henry George Murphy; the full hallmarks incorporate Murphy's Falcon Studio mark.
Condition
This antique 1920s silver caddy spoon is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The cast and applied decoration is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the bowl are all very clear.

A very good vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver caddy spoon modelled in the form of a jockey cap; an addition to our diverse teaware collection.
This vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver caddy spoon is realistically modelled in the form of a jockey cap; the design is based on an original George III jockey cap style caddy spoon.
The outer surface of the cap is encircled with embossed panels of ribbed decoration accented with stylised husk pendant drops.
The peak of the cap is embellished with embossed star, bead and octofoil motif decoration on a ribbed background incorporating a vacant shield shaped cartouche.
This unusual vintage silver caddy spoon will sit on either the convex or concave side of the bowl.
Condition
This vintage caddy spoon is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in exceptional presentation condition.
The embossed decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rear of the bowl are all very clear.
