These striking armchairs feature an exceptionally light and architectural construction, combining slender black-finished metal frames with warm wooden details and beautifully woven natural cord seats and backrests. The geometric basket-weave pattern creates a strong graphic appearance while retaining the functional simplicity and restrained aesthetic associated with Italian Rationalism and early Italian Modernism. Particularly distinctive are the long wooden armrests, which provide a warm contrast to the elegant black metal structure. The slightly reclined backrests, low seating position and beautifully balanced proportions give the chairs a relaxed yet sophisticated appearance.
