By Edgar Degas

Located in Gent, VOV

Horse Clearing an Obstacle (work number 48) Bronze with dark brown green patina bearing the stamp of the signature "Degas", Numbered IV/IX and dated 1998 Posthumous lost wax casting as of 1998. Stamp of Valsuani. Signed Degas The work is a sought-after rarity in terms of Degas’ sculptures. This bronze is distinguished by the fact that it is a Valsuani bronze, meaning it faithfully records Degas’ wax version’s as it appeared at the time of its creation. Most Degas' bronzes that are found on the market were cast by Hébrard – these serialized bronzes are surmoulages, or “aftercasts,” that were cast from the modèle bronzes currently in the Norton Simon Museum (Pasadena). Coco Popsicle Sculpture (White)-limited edition iconic pop art-contemporary art

Coco Popsicle Sculpture (White)-limited edition iconic pop art-contemporary art

By Sanuj Birla

Located in London, Chelsea

We offer complimentary worldwide shipping and cover all tariffs and import taxes for this artwork. This exceptional artwork is currently on display and available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art Gallery and online. “Coco Popsicle Sculpture (White)” by Sanuj Birla is a playful exploration of luxury, consumer culture, and contemporary Pop Art. Crafted from fibre and resin, the tabletop sculpture takes the form of a pristine white melting popsicle, incorporating the recognisable No. 5 Chanel label on one side and the interlocking CC logo on the other. On closer inspection, the familiar frozen treat reveals itself as a witty reinterpretation of a perfume bottle, complete with a broken corner that suggests a playful bite has been taken from its surface. Birla’s contemporary Pop Art approach transforms familiar imagery from fashion and everyday life into an unexpected sculptural object. The clean geometry associated with a perfume bottle is softened by the rounded form and melting appearance of the popsicle, creating an intriguing tension between elegance and humour. This combination of recognisable references allows the sculpture to feel immediately familiar while remaining surprising in its presentation. The sculpture’s silhouette plays an important role in its visual character. The elongated popsicle form establishes a strong vertical structure, while the melting edges and broken corner disrupt its otherwise polished appearance. Logos positioned across the surface become integral compositional elements, encouraging the viewer to move around the sculpture and discover how the object shifts between confectionery, perfume bottle, and Pop Art statement. Colour is central to the sculpture’s visual impact. The predominantly white palette gives the work a crisp, minimalist appearance, reinforcing its association with luxury packaging while also recalling the smooth surface of a frozen confection. The restrained colour scheme allows the graphic elements and sculptural form to remain prominent, giving the piece a clean and distinctly contemporary presence. The sculpture’s carefully finished surface also encourages close attention to material and texture. Smooth areas of fibre and resin contrast with the irregular details of the melting form and broken edge, creating a playful tension between perfection and imperfection. These details reinforce the illusion of an object caught between states, as though a polished luxury product has unexpectedly begun to melt away. Yet “Coco Popsicle Sculpture (White)” is more than a whimsical combination of a popsicle and perfume bottle. By bringing together imagery associated with luxury fashion and an ordinary sweet treat, Birla playfully blurs distinctions between exclusivity and everyday consumption. The sculpture invites viewers to reconsider familiar symbols of desire and branding through humour, transformation, and visual contradiction. With its crisp white palette, inventive form, and playful fusion of luxury imagery and popular culture, “Coco Popsicle Sculpture (White)” is a distinctive contemporary tabletop sculpture...

By Sanuj Birla

Located in London, Chelsea

We offer complimentary worldwide shipping and cover all tariffs and import taxes for this artwork. This exceptional artwork is currently on display and available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art Gallery and online. “Boss Dog 1” by Sanuj Birla is a bold and characterful exploration of attitude, humour, and contemporary sculpture. Crafted from resin and fibreglass, the tabletop sculpture depicts an iconic British Bulldog standing upright on its hind legs, its forearms confidently crossed while holding a spiked bat. The exaggerated pose and instantly recognisable subject give the work a commanding presence, transforming the familiar canine figure into a playful symbol of confidence and authority. Birla’s contemporary realist approach combines recognisable anatomy with a highly stylised sense of character. The Bulldog’s distinctive proportions and features are carefully modelled, while its human-like stance introduces an unexpected and humorous element. The smooth sculptural finish gives the figure a polished appearance, allowing its expressive silhouette and assertive posture to become central to the work’s visual identity. The figure’s pose creates a strong sense of structure and personality. Standing vertically on its hind legs, the Bulldog forms a compact yet imposing silhouette, while the crossed forearms reinforce its self-assured attitude. The spiked bat introduces a contrasting diagonal element, adding visual tension to the composition and enhancing the sculpture’s mischievous, larger-than-life character. Colour is central to the sculpture’s visual impact. Its sleek silver finish gives the figure a distinctly contemporary appearance, allowing light to move across the modelled surfaces and emphasise changes in volume and form. The restrained monochromatic palette also focuses attention on the Bulldog’s expression, posture, and sculptural details rather than distracting from them with additional colour. The sculpture’s carefully finished surface encourages close observation of its texture and modelling. From the characteristic folds and contours of the Bulldog to the sharper detailing of the spiked bat, Birla combines smooth surfaces with more defined elements to create visual and tactile contrast. The reflective qualities of the silver finish further accentuate these details as the sculpture is viewed from different angles. Yet “Boss Dog 1” is more than a contemporary representation of a British Bulldog. Through its anthropomorphic stance, crossed arms, and unexpected accessory, Birla gives the animal a distinctly human personality. Confidence and humour converge within the figure, turning the Bulldog into a playful character whose exaggerated authority invites both amusement and curiosity. With its distinctive silhouette, sleek silver finish, and playful combination of realism and character, “Boss Dog 1” is a striking contemporary tabletop sculpture...

By Alberto Saucedo

Located in San Antonio, TX

Alberto Saucedo (Born 1960) Texas Artist (Sculptor/Painter) 21.5 inches tall Medium: Bronze 2016 "The Enigma of The Egg" Alberto was born in 1960. He was raised in Mexico City. Alberto Saucedo began his career as self-taught artist who demonstrated at a young age a remarkable talent and passion for art that eventually at seventeen years of age led him to formal studies at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and later on enrolled at San Diego City College. There he focused on Commercial Art and Interior Design. It was there, where he evolved his unique personal style. It was also at this time that he discovered the work of Master sculptor Francisco Zuñiga and studied sculpture with him. Sculpture subsequently became a major part of Saucedo’s work, and achieved his first real recognition in his field. Saucedo’s training has included a generous study of art history, where he incorporates his sensuous, spiritual and classical techniques, transforming it into a style that becomes evident in his work.
