Mid-Century ceramic table lamp by French designer Jean Austruy. Made in his pottery workshop in Vallauris circa 1950. Excellent condition. Measurements without shade: W 20 cm, H 43 cm Jean Austruy, along other artists such as Jean Derval and Roger Capron, participated in the revival of the city of Vallauris. Coinciding with Pablo Picasso's arrival to Vallauris, the flourishing scene would later be known as the golden age of French modern ceramics.
