Jean-Eugène Bersier Art

Jean-Eugène Bersier was a French painter and engraver. He was one of the pupils of Jean-Paul Lauriens, Maurice Denis, René Ménard and René-Xavier Prinet. Bersier was a Professor of the History of the Artistic Techniques at the école Estienne in Paris.

Very good conditions.
Very beautiful artwork representing some bodies inside a forest. On the lower right side there is a skull, symbosl osf death and, some human nude figures are realized on the left side of the artworks. The figures recalls the characters of the Universal Judgment in the Sistine Chapel. On the lower side of the composition, there are some ferocious animals. Other mysterious symbols are hidden in the dark space.
