Produced by Golden Breed, the legendary Australian surfwear company, the film documented the emergence of a new generation of surfers whose approach emphasized elegance, flow and individuality as much as athletic performance. More than a sports documentary, A Matter of Style became a manifesto for an entire lifestyle.
The poster itself perfectly reflects this philosophy. Dominated by deep black backgrounds contrasted with vibrant yellow and orange typography, the composition combines dramatic surfing photography with unmistakably seventies graphic design.
