Mahie's rings with color gemstones like this, are very rare and mostly only created by special commissions. This sculptural imposing cocktail ring has been carefully crafted in solid rich yellow gold of 22 karats, with all the surfaces finished with textured, chiseled and hammered patterns. It is a very impressive, bold, large piece and lends on the wearer a big, big, big... gold look. Amethyst: Mount in the center in a bezel, with one oval cabochon cut (24 x 21 x 13 mm) of a natural vivid purple African amethyst of 55 carats. Weight: Has a total weight of 51.95 grams ( 33.31 Dwt). Size: The actual size is 7 and can be sized. Measurements: 30 mm by 32 mm (1.18 x 1.26 Inches) and raise 16 mm over the finger. Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks, the head of the eagle for the assay and warranty of the 22kt gold, the maker's maitre mark JM associated to Jean Mahie in a lozange cartouche and Signed in full on the bottom, "JEAN MAHIE 22KT JM ".
