Mahie's rings with color gemstones like this, are very rare and mostly only created by special commissions. This sculptural imposing cocktail ring has been carefully crafted in solid rich yellow gold of 22 karats, with all the surfaces finished with textured, chiseled and hammered patterns. It is a very impressive, bold, large piece and lends on the wearer a big, big, big... gold look. Amethyst: Mount in the center in a bezel, with one oval cabochon cut (24 x 21 x 13 mm) of a natural vivid purple African amethyst of 55 carats. Weight: Has a total weight of 51.95 grams ( 33.31 Dwt). Size: The actual size is 7 and can be sized. Measurements: 30 mm by 32 mm (1.18 x 1.26 Inches) and raise 16 mm over the finger. Neither was formally trained and both preferred to work with 22ct gold in order to realize their unique style that embodied primitive form, motifs and techniques. Everything they made was entirely hand crafted with Jacline often drawing inspiration from her memories of growing up near the ancient ruins of Carthage in Tunisia.
