These are three bird paintings by Chilean artist Viviana Ovanda.The framed size on the first 2 is 9 x 9. The size on the third on is 8 x 9. These were painted in Santiago, Chile where the artist resides with her family. The fixed price on each one is $350 each. All proceeds go back to the artist to develop here career in Chile. A fine impressionist landscape by the 19th century French painter Loouis Boulanger (1806-1867). Oil on canvas 15"x21,3/4" 38cmx 55cm The original giltwood frame: 22"x28" , 56cmx 72cm. A fine plein air study of a stoney outcrop on the edge of a French village circa 1860. Boulanger was famous during his lifetime for his portraits of the intelligentsia of Paris society during the 19th century including Victor Hugo. He showed collections of his work in many solo exhibitions starting in Barcelona in 1929 and 1930. His first solo exhibition in Paris was in 1937 and he went on to exhibit in Madrid, London, Buenos Aires and New York. After three trips to Paris he finally settled there in 1936. In Paris he was influenced by the paintings of Marcel Gromaire and especially Julius Pascin.
